One Direction win three MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow

One Direction
One Direction came out on top at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards with three prizes at Glasgow's SSE Hydro Arena.
They took home best live, best pop and biggest fans categories but were beaten to worldwide act by China's Bibi Zhou.
They accepted their awards on a pre-recorded video although Zayn Malik was missing from the line-up.
Katy Perry, 5 Seconds of Summer and Ariana Grande picked up two awards each and host Nicki Minaj won best hip-hop.
Grande was named best female artist and also took the best single prize for Problem.
The 21-year-old also performed her song Break Free from a flying pod while wearing a white mini-dress.
"This is absolutely crazy," Grande said after her second win of the night.
Nicki Minaj steered clear of controversy while hosting the show.
"I've been learning so much about your beautiful country and culture... I've pretty much become Scottish," she told the crowd.
She rapped about whiskey and shortbread and sang part of The Proclaimers' I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles).
Beyonce didn't appear as widely rumoured and Calvin Harris had to pull out of opening the show after having a heart scare.
There were performances from acts including Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Enrique Iglesias as well as Royal Blood and Charli XCX.
U2 played in Rotterdam in 1997, Stockholm in 2000, Berlin in 2009 and returned to the EMAs on Sunday to perform Every Breaking Wave.
Simon Neil from Biffy Clyro performed with Miles Kennedy and Slash to close the show with a cover of Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train, who picked up the Global Icon Award.
Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff presented the best female award to Ariana Grande wearing a kilt and accompanied by twin models and professional wrestlers The Bella Twins.
Best male went to Justin Bieber, who thanked MTV via a video clip, while Linkin Park won in the rock category.
The awards, founded in 1994, adopted a time-travel theme for its 20th anniversary with balloons of the planets floating in the arena.
The event has previously been held in London, Liverpool, Belfast and Edinburgh while next year's show is in Milan, Italy.
