What To Buy From The Alexander Wang For H&M Collection

It seems like a millennium since Alexander Wang and H&M announced their
collaboration at Coachella back in April. Now, the official lookbook and the line's
full range of clothes and accessories are finally here. And, it's just as cool, sporty, and
boundary-pushing as anything we imagine would walk down Wang's illustrious runway.

To an extent, we knew what was coming — we'd gathered bits and pieces from the designer's
mysterious Instagram previews,Rihanna's casual debut of the line at New York Fashion Week,
and even in a sneak-peek spread tucked away in Vogue Netherlands. But, none of that compared
to being able to see the looks in person — and being able to scroll through every single one online.

At a press conference in NYC this morning, Wang took editors through the collection. Yes,
WANG-emblazoned sweatshirts and pullovers, mesh-paneled leggings, cropped bralettes, and
scuba dresses abound. But, you may not have expected that the materials were custom-blended in
Italy — and actually count as performance wear, should you choose to wear 'em for a workout.
(There’s even a T-shirt with a logo that only appears when you sweat.)

It’s also important to note that these wares are brand-new, never-before-seen designs. Only a couple
pieces — like the Freya boot — have been resurrected and reimagined. Likewise, the random
accessories sprinkled throughout — boxer gloves, anyone? — are nothing we've seen in Wang's
Objects line. Even the classic tees have bowed out — instead, Wang chose to focus on graphic prints
and logos, already having perfected the basics in his other line, T by Alexander Wang. You'll notice
reflective bits cooly incorporated amid this almost-all-black palette. The designer took his
nighttime-sports inspiration to heart; crafting an après-gym array just right for the Saturday-night
 circuit.

Other accessories — beanies, duffels, knee-high tube socks, and more — are just as suited for the gym as they are an #OOTD. But, enough talk: The collection, starting at $17.95 and maxing out at $349, is now yours for the ogling. We'll be updating the slideshow ahead with links to purchase on November 6, when the team-up is available in stores and online. Until then? Well, let your imagination do the shopping.
