But Lara Stone clearly wasn't keen to smile for the camera when she was spotted out in north London on Tuesday.
The blonde beauty, who is married to Britain's Got Talent host David Walliams, cut an unusually downbeat figure as she stepped out with her beloved dog, Bert.
Wearing an all-black outfit consisting of skinny jeans, black leather jacket, slip-on trainers and a black jumper, the cover star looked casual yet cool.
Her hair was scarped back into a ponytail, while she sported minimal - perhaps no - make-up.
Seemingly engrossed in a phone conversation on her mobile, she failed to crack a smile during the outing. In fact, she even elicited a sympathetic look from her pet dog.
At one point she met up with a friend who seemed to offer some comfort, but this too failed to improve her mood.
Incongruously, just a few hours earlier, she posted a chirpy message about her sister's academic work.
'So proud of my amazing, smart little sister who has just finished her PhD dissertation,' she wrote.
Lara recently admitted she was hugely nervous when she first came to dating her husband - and didn't understand his sense of humour.
Speaking to Dutch Vogue, she said: ‘I'd forgotten to thank him for dinner so I sent him a text. You know what he wrote back? “Who's this?!”
'I was shocked. I really thought he'd forgotten already. I only realised later he was joking. We have so much fun. I'm quite lucky.'
