NEW DELHI : Hyundai is set to give an upgrade to the Verna sedan, which has been rattled by the strong showing of the newHonda City and good response to the newly-launched Maruti Ciaz.
Sources said the country's second-biggest carmaker is giving a mid-life upgrade to the fluidic-design model, which was first introduced in May 2011.
The new version will see minor facelifts to the exterior of the car, though there will not be many changes to the interiors. "It should be out in the market by the first quarter of next year," a source said. The company has already launched the facelifted version in Russia where it is called Solaris. Changes include larger headlights and LEDs in the brake lights.
