Two clubs chasing the Apertura Liga MX title will do battle today in a league match between Queretaro and America. America manager Antonio Mohamed (via Esto): "We are pleased [with our advancement in the CONCACAF Champions League]. The objective was to advance and we achieved our goal. We had the motivation of last year's defeat and this [tournament] was one of our objectives this season."
"I maintain my position," he added when asked about the scoring form of striker Oribe Peralta. "I'm calm and happy because whether he scores or not, he's a pivotal player, not because of the goals, but because he pushes the team forward. He makes plays and adds pressure."
